menWelcome to Men’s Ministry!

A great need in our world today is for men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; and men with consciences beyond reproach who are willing to stand for the Truth. We are fighting a daily battle in our homes, our marriages, for our children, at our places of business, and even in our churches. MCOTN offers a strong and vibrant community that helps men work through the real and relevant issues of life and in so doing, become better Christians, fathers, husbands, and leaders. Our mission is to Love God – Love Others – Make disciples. Our main goal is to lead men to the life of truth, passion, and purpose that we were created to live. This is a call to radical discipleship and the greatest adventure life affords. We invite you to join with other like-minded men who are serious about this mission and participate in this exciting adventure together!

What is Men’s Ministry?

Our mission to Love God – Love Others – Make Disciples becomes practical to our lives when we purposefully and faithfully:

– Love God by studying and putting His Word into practice (Luke 11:28)
- Love Others by caring for their needs (Gal. 6:2)
- Make Disciples by fostering accountability and inviting friends (Prov. 27:17, John 21:15-17)

We put this mission into action through monthly breakfasts and Bible studies. Activities such as baseball games, “Steak-outs”, and service projects provide opportunities to have fun and build unity. Most of us have similar hopes and struggles, and we value times of meaningful fellowship with other men who are running the same life race. By working, playing, laughing, and enjoying life together, we can hold each other accountable for living in a way that honors our Lord Jesus, and encourages one another to grow closer to Him.

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study

Join us for a great breakfast, Bible study, and fellowship at 7:30am each Saturday at the Starbucks in Safeway at Anthem Merrill Ranch. Roundtable Bible study. This is an opportunity to start your day off right, make new friends, and be challenged to grow in your faith. Contact Clarence McGinnis for more information.

Service Projects

A team of volunteers form the Serving Our Seniors Ministry and make periodic trips to the homes of widows and widowers in our church to assist with miscellaneous home and lawn projects.

The Men’s Ministry needs lots of volunteers to accomplish its mission! You might enjoy being a table discussion leader, assisting with an upcoming Fellowship Event, helping with setup and teardown following an event, preparing/emailing promotional flyers, video messaging, serving as an event photographer, or running AV. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Pastor Kevin McGinnis
